27th November 1948 Derek and Maud married at Parish Church Harrow. Derek is aged 22 a Telephone Engineer for GPO from 23 Hill Crescent Harrow and Maud is aged 28 a Telephone Operator. One of witnesses is a H Mawdsley which could be Derek’s father Henry. This is a photo of a young Derek (provided by Karen Humphreys).

1949 Daughter born in Hampstead though the family were living in 22 Francis Road Harrow. Daughter married a Humphreys and they had a daughter Karen Humphreys who is a contact of the author of this website and provided the photos up to and including Evan and Jenet and Ellen Mawdsley.

1951 Son born in Bushey though the family were living in 22 Francis Road Harrow. Son married but no children can be found.

5th January 1968 Derek’s father Henry dies aged 75 at Harrow Hospital.

28th January 1993 Roma dies aged 90 at her long term home 23 Hill Crescent Harrow. Derek was the informant living at 22 Francis Road Harrow.

26th December 1998 Derek dies aged 71 at Mount Vernon Hospital Northwood London of Hodgkins Lymphona, he was a Retired Telecommunications Executive still living at 22 Francis Road Harrow. Informant was Maud.

1st August 2014 Maud dies aged 94 at St Marys Hospital Westminster of Multiple Trauma (Accidental Death), she was still living at 22 Francis Road Harrow (her home for at least 65 years).
