This is the 1849 map of Winstanley, the Winstanley Estate to the left, then Slacky Brow (today’s Pemberton Road) then some houses

Hill House appears in the census, the dwellings to the north west of Hill House are marked as Jamieson Farm in the 1890 map, then “New Houses” are to the north west of that. There is no “Coush House”, and it does not appear on the Tithe Maps of 1838 either. It could be that Coush House is part of Jameson Farm which is where Edward’s father John lived.
