20th February 1897 Henry born at 271 City Road City Windle St Helens to Thomas and Elizabeth Brown. Father Thomas had died on 13th August 1896.

27th February 1900 Doris born at 37 Atherton Street Central St Helens to Albert and Minnie Hughes.

2nd April 1911 Census. Henry is living with his brother John at Folds Farm Haresfinch St Helens as an On Farm Cow Boy aged 14.

1914 To 1918 No military service can be found for Henry.

6th October 1919 Henry’s mother Elizabeth dies aged 59.

22nd November 1919 Henry and Doris marry at St Helen St Helens. Henry is a Carter aged 23 living at 390 West End Road Haydock and Doris is aged 20 living at 159 Duke Street Central St Helens.

4th November 1920 Son Albert Henry born at 159 Duke Street Central St Helens (living with Doris’s parents). Henry is a Carter at a Sheet Glass Works and stated to be “Ex Army” but no records can be found.

19th June 1921 Census. Family living at 159 Duke Street Central St Helens with Doris’s mother Minnie who is widowed. Henry is a Carter at Pilkington Steel Glass Works aged 24, Doris is aged 21 and Albert is aged 7 months.

5th March 1924 Son Albert dies at 159 Duke Street Central St Helens of Meningitis aged 3. Henry is a Foreman Carter at a Sheet Glass Works.

1928 Second son born in St Helens.

1933 Daughter born in St Helens.

29th September 1939 Register. Family cannot be found.

10th December 1972 Doris dies at 30 Queens Drive Windle St Helens of Arteriosclerosis aged 72.

25th November 1979 Henry dies at St Helens Hospital of Ischaemic Fibrosis of the Myocardium aged 82. Occupation is retired Transport Foreman and residence is 30 Queens Drive Windle St Helens.
