24th October 1903 Harry’s sister Clari dies aged 11 months at 9 Boardman Street Blackrod of Whooping Cough. Harry is aged 12.
1914-1918 No first world war service records can be found for Harry. He worked in a Bleachworks.
28th November 1917 Harry’s mother Mary dies aged 56 at The Folds Blackrod of Multiple Sclerosis. Harris ia aged 26.

Harry’s father John is a witness (Devon is long way to go from Blackrod). It would be interesting to know Harry and Marie met, maybe Harry was working in Devon, he was living in Blackrod in the 1921 Census. Harry and Marie live in Blackrod.

17th June 1925 Harry’s brother Colin and his family emigrate to Brisbane Australia.
14th June 1927 Harry’s sister Lily and her family plus Harry’s brother John and his family all emigrate to Brisbane Australia.
9th July 1925 Harry’s father John marries Mary Ann Dean at Blackrod.

17th June 1934 Harry’s father John’s wife Mary Ann dies aged 73 in Blackrod. Harry was the informant and was also present at the death, his residence is 69 Ainsworth Avenue Horwich.
31st March 1935 Harry’s sister Emily dies aged 53 in Manchester.
29th September 1939 Register. Family living at 69 Ainsworth Avenue Horwich. Harry is a Textile Bleaching Manager, daughter Christine, son Arthur and son Harry are all At School.
29th January 1943 Harry’s father John dies aged 85 in Blackrod.
