Eric Lamb was born in 1912 the son of an Upholsterer in Central Wigan. Annie Pilkington was born in 1913 the daught of a Carter in Scholes Wigan. Eric and Annie were married in 1936. They had 4 children two of whom’s descendants carry the Lamb surname to the present day. Eric died in 1990 and Annie died in 1995.

12th October 1912 Eric born in 13 Atherton Street Central Wigan, which is off Harrogate Street Central Wigan, father Syndey an Upholsterer Journeyman.

31st December 1913 Annie born in 58 Linney Street Scholes Wigan, father James a Carter.

28th March 1936 Eric and Annie marry at Chapel Lane Presbyterian Wallgate Wigan, Eric is a Gas Fitter aged 23 living at 6 Florrie Street Scholes WIgan, Annie a Hosiery Worker aged 22 living at 58 Linney Street Scholes Wigan.

21st August 1938 Son David born at 32 Harrogate Street Central Wigan, father Eric is a Corporation Gas Fitter. David goes on to marry Joyce Crompton, and becomes a Builder in Bolton with 4 children who carry the Lamb surname to the present day. David dies on 28th November 2017 in Egerton aged 79.

29th September 1939 Register. Family living at 166 Thicknesse Avenue Beech Hill Wigan, Eric is a Gas Fitter, Annie is a Hosiery Repairer.

30th August 1944 Son Ian born. Ian goes on to marry Barbara Bold and becomes a Clerk with one daughter. Ian dies on 10th October 2017 aged 73.

1947 Third son born and is alive today with 3 children who carry the Lamb surname to the present day.

1952 Daughter born and is alive today, married with no children.

23rd January 1990 Eric dies at Billinge Hospital of Cerebral Glioma aged 77, residence given as 166 Thicknesse Avenue Beech Hill Wigan, occupation as retired Sales Representative.

6th May 1995 Annie dies at St George’s Nursing Home Windsor Street Scholes Wigan of Rectum Cancer aged 81.
